Closely Watched Films    2009

Concepted and designed an advertising campaign for the film series "Closely Watched Films." I designed the logo and style for the series hosted by Elliott Kalan, the comedian and staff writer for “The Daily Show.” I based the look of the ads on classic movie posters, and digitally colorized the original black and white movie stills to further the effect..




The Devil and Daniel Webster    2009

Celebrating Nabokov    2009

Designed and concepted an ad for an event celebrating the life and work of the author, Vladimir Nabokov, at the 92Y. The event included the writer, Martin Amis, and the designer and author, Chip Kidd, and concluded with a reading from Nabokov's then-unpublished novel, "The Original of Laura."



Brooklyn Takes Manhatta    2009

Designed, concepted, and illustrated an ad for an event curated by Todd P, entitled "Brooklyn Takes Manhattan." Bands for the event included Telepathe, Teengirl Fantasy, Hawnay Troof, and Silk Flowers. I loosely based the design on the board game Risk and illustrated a map of Manhattan and Brooklyn with matching pieces.
